Digestive Health for Women over 50
I work specifically with women over 50 who are ready to finally understand what their digestion is telling them.
You might be here if:
✓ You’re dealing with constipation, bloating or reflux that won’t go away no matter what you try
✓ You’ve cut out foods, tried supplements and followed the usual advice but nothings worked long term
✓ You’ve made some changes that have improved things but you just can’t stick with them
✓ Your weight loss jabs (GLP-1’s) have caused or worsened your digestive symptoms
✓ You want to understand and address the underlying causes of your symptoms
✓ You’ve heard that digestive health is the cornerstone of health but don’t know where to start
✓ You’re ready for sustainable changes not another 30 day transformation
This isn't for you if:
✗ You're looking for a quick fix or magic pill
✗ You want a restrictive meal plan or strict food rules
✗ You're not ready to examine your eating patterns and behaviours honestly
✗ You want to obsess over macros and calories
✗ You're currently in an acute eating disorder requiring intensive treatment (I can refer you to appropriate resources)
Where to start -
The Digestive Assessment
A proper one hour assessment. You’ll come away understanding your digestion better with practical next steps to start feeling better.
FAQ
-
It's a short conversation to talk through what you're experiencing and find out if a one-hour digestive assessment is the right next step for you. There's no pressure to book anything further — it's simply a chance to ask questions and see if we're a good fit.
-
DA full review of your digestive history and current symptoms, plus written nutrition and lifestyle recommendations sent after your session. You'll come away with clarity on your first steps, whether or not you go on to book further support.
-
No. I work alongside your GP and any other healthcare you're receiving, not instead of it. If anything in our conversation suggests you need medical investigation, I'll always point you toward that first.
-
BANT stands for the British Association for Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine — the UK's professional register for nutritional therapists. Being BANT registered means I meet defined standards of training, practice, and ongoing professional development.
-
No. Most of my clients come to me with digestive symptoms — constipation, bloating, reflux — not disordered eating. My additional training in the behavioural side of eating simply means I can spot when stress, restriction, or irregular eating patterns are affecting digestion, even when that's not the main reason someone's come to see me.
-
Mostly online — this means you can work with me from anywhere, without needing to travel. If you're local to Broadstairs or the other Thanet Towns (Ramsgate, Margate, Birchington) I also offer in-person sessions at my purpose built clinic room.
-
You'll have the option — not the obligation — to book a package of ongoing consultations. There's no pressure either way; some people just want the assessment and take it from there themselves.
